Agnus Dei Conclave No 220, at it's best.

Unfortunately I was the only visitor there to witness a lovely meeting at Agnus Dei on Wednesday 20th January 2016, but I was not on my own there were 23 Members there.
Before anything else happened the Worthy Knights present were asked to stand to honour the "passing to higher service" of the Senior Member of, Ill Kt Len C Hooton, P G Std B (C), who had been the M PS in 1981, a well respected Red Cross Mason.
Whilst there was to be an Installation Ceremony, it was also the Business meeting.

E Kt James Borsey, the Emminent Viceroy, should have been Enthroned as Sovereign last year, until health problem put a stay on it. But now being fully recovered he was elected and proclaimed Sovereign Elect for the ensuing year and as was Worthy Knight John Ford as the Viceroy Elect for the ensuing year, and both were wished well.

It was then on to the main business of the evening which saw P Kt Iain Brown deliver his "swan song" Installing two new Members into the Conclave. Iain, that enthusiastic Red Cross Mason, at his best, assisted by his Officer, ensured that the Candidates were installed in great form, a ceremony that I don't think either of them will forget for a long time.

The Oration delivered in a very steady and deliberate way by the Orator, W Kt Gordon Ross will no doubt also remain with them for a long time. I am certain Gordon went home feeling very satisfied on a job well done, if he didn't he should have done!

After the ceremony, Dinner lived up to the Agnus Dei reputation where we were treated to Clam Chowder and a Venison Casserole, finish off with an Ice Cream delight.

A "fine Ceremony", finished off with " fine Dinning". I certainly enjoyed myself.
